Timeline

My design journey

Started into design since highschool, and still counting

2012

IT Club - SMAN 20 Surabaya

I joined IT Club in my highschool, where there are design and programming departments. I joined the design department and learned about design there, especially graphic design using Adobe family and Corel Draw.

2015

Medical Laboratory Technologist - Poltekkes Surabaya

I couldn't afford design school back then, so after graduated from highschool, I chose to go to a government-funded college. But I didn't stop designing, as I still getting small to medium graphic design gigs.

2020

UI/UX Designer - PT Bimasakti Multi Sinergi

I graduated on 2019, and then learned about Web Design. Started from there, I created my first design portfolio and landed out my first design job.

I designed for B2C fintech products, from end-to-end design process. Including researches, prototypes, engineer hand-overs, even marketing designs.

2021

UX Designer - Niagahoster

COVID-19 attacked, so I decided to move into remote company. As a UX Designer, I conducted desk researches, facilitated design workshops and brainstorming sessions, created prototypes, and conducted usability study.

2022

Lead UX Designer - Niagahoster

As the team expanded, I led our small UX Design function. I conducted catch-up meetings with the other UX Designers to make every projects in-line between each products, conducted design audits and critique sessions, and keep in touch with the product department higher ups.

2023

Product Designer - Hostinger International

I promoted to Hostinger by internal hiring mechanism. Worked with global team to deliver best experience to customers all over the world.

I was assigned for company's core product, Web Hosting and WordPress, and did the end-to-end design process. Started by desk researches, conducted interviews, facilitated design workshops and ideation sessions, maintained design systems, conducted usability studies, and contributed to the OKR meetings.

2024

Senior UX/UI Designer - Alphabyte, Inc.

After getting layed-off from Hostinger in Q1 2024, I take my next journey to another foreign company. This time is Japanese company, Alphabyte, Inc.

In this company, my role is a Senior UX/UI Designer that evaluated and designed the to-be-released products by the company. This company mostly focused on AI products, like Mona AI, and another AI web apps.

2024

UX/UI Designer III - AccelByte

At the end of 2024, I got a call from AccelByte. This is a game developer backend tools, that based on Seattle, WA.

Breaking through gaming industry was one dream of mine. But after an incredible ride at AccelByte—designing tools for game developers, growing with amazing teammates, and learning more than I could’ve imagined—I’ve been impacted by a layoff on Q2 2025 due to unpredictable company challenges and not related with my performance.
